Perfect Stuffed French Toast
If you follow FondofRecipes on Facebook, you can be remembered to see delicious French toast on my birthday by my dear MOM!
French Toast is its specialty / favorite breakfast (which works well?) ... well ... until I know it.
But this time he drove himself out by adding chopped strawberries. And take a picture with your fancy scanner iPhone.
As I was not already sensitive to leaning French Toast's ideas after that cute breakfast, this blog came along and seed was planted for a stuffed French toast filled on the Panini Press.
That blog? Yes, it is called Penny Happy. And it makes me very happy. As my beautiful, sleek, and classy penny presses. I already feel the whole life of coming to Panini.
2. Before inviting me for breakfast, you will need to know how to make it. Slice a loaf of bread in 2-inch pieces. You should finally get about six pieces in which the last pieces are not included. Using a walking knife, cut a deep slit in the middle of each piece, about 4 inches tall (painted above). This will be your "pocket" Once you are done, separate the bread.
4. Wash strawberries, remove strains, and cut slices in each. Turn them a quarter turn and add them to a bowl, slice them again.
5. After that, mash the strawberries, which is a great way to say that add a little sugar and mix it. Set them aside and leave your magic to sugar.
6. After this, add jam in cream cheese and mix until both combined jointly.
7. Cream cheese mixture now looks like strawberry curd. Yum!
8. Now comes the fun part! Take a piece of bread and add one teaspoon (or whatever you want) about filling cream cheese. Personally, I like about 2 spoons per piece. Do the same thing with fresh fruit. Close the bread by pressing the bread slowly. This will make them easy and less dirty frying. Separate the filled slices.
9. Now is the time to take an egg bath. Mix eggs, milk and cinnamon until well mixed. To preheat the skillet, turn the stove top on the middle-high. While your skillet is heating up, wash the cut bread in the egg for about 20 seconds on both sides. Dip only several slices as a plan on frying. In other words, if your pan can fry only two pieces at a time, then make sure to coat two pieces of bread once.
10. Add a little butter to the surface of the skillet. This will help prevent French toast from sticking. I Heart Butter.
11. Fry each piece per side around 3 minutes or golden brown. Remove from heat and serve.
12. If you are interested in making your stuffed French Toast a little more glamorous, then slice it with fresh strawberries and almonds and sprinkle powder sugar at the top of the garnish.
13. See how beautiful these children are! Can you believe how easy it was, yet how wonderful is it to add a little bit of magic dust (AK powder)?
Final Thoughts: Although I loved this recipe, I want to suggest some things. For the full bread of bread, you can double the amount of cream cheese and jam can call for the original recipe. If you plan to use fresh strawberries to fill, then I recommend using 1/2 cup chopped strawberries in which 1 tablespoon sugar is added. Besides, because I think the stuffed French Toast was very cute on its own, I have not chosen to add maple syrup.
Thanks a lot for Amanda for this great recipe. It's now rotating on my regular Sunday morning!

How To Make Perfect Stuffed French Toast:
- Here's a list of what you need: French or Italian bread, eggs, milk, butter, cream cheese, cinnamon, and a fresh fruit (if you are like me, you use both of them will do). I just added slaved almonds for its joke, but you do not have to do it until you want it. If you do, then tell me where and when I can invite myself for breakfast. Thank you.

3. I decided to add with strawberries to fill. They were almost too beautiful to eat. You can use any fruit or fruit, but I highly recommend strawberries.

Description
A wonderful twist on breakfast classic!
Ingredients
- loaf French Bread
- 3 Tablespoons Any Flavor Fruit Spread (You Can Also Use Jelly, Jam, Or Fresh Fruit)
- ½ packages Cream Cheese (4 Oz), At Room Temperature
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
- ½ cups Skim Milk
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
Preparation Instructions
- Heat skillet or electric grilled from 325 to 350 degrees.
- Cut the French bread into 2-3 inch wide slices. Then, with a walking knife, go back and cut each piece half way, at the center, create a 'pocket' to fill your fruit mixture.
- In a bowl, keep room temperature cream cheese and three tablespoons of fruit to disperse your choice. (I used all the organic blueberries in the photo.) Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, break 2 eggs; Add cinnamon and milk and combine well. Now, mix the fruit and stuff in the 'pocket' of your French bread slice. Place on a baking sheet.
- When filling each piece of bread, coat each piece in egg mixture completely. Ensure that all sides are covered. Do all the pieces before starting fry.
- In a large skillet, 2 tablespoons of butter (you can use less!) And completely melt Add all the bread in skillet and cook roughly 3-6 minutes on each side until it becomes a nice golden brown color. You want to make sure the cream cheese mixture becomes hot.
- During cooking, serve immediately with butter and syrup.
